EFT for Anxiety Script -
Basic Level

This EFT for anxiety script can be used at either the basic or the advanced level, depending on what we are trying to achieve.

  • At the basic level, EFT is used to address symptoms only, while
  • advanced EFT aims at the permanent removal of emotional problems.

To see the difference, let us look at how each level operates.

Basic EFT for anxiety script: removing the symptoms

When using EFT for symptoms relief, we can achieve immediate success in reducing unpleasant bodily signs.

These would be

  • the rapid heart rate,
  • sweaty palms,
  • tremors and so forth…

The karate point which you should tap on during both the basic and advanced EFT anxiety procedure

1) In such cases, you could tap on the karate point and say

  • ‘‘Although I am anxious, I love and accept myself.’’...

...and then proceed to tap on the other points while repeating the statement

  • ‘‘I am anxious.’’

Other possible variations might include:

2) While tapping on the karate point, saying

  • ‘Despite my rapid heartbeat, I love and accept myself.’’

and at all the other points:

  • ‘‘My heart is beating rapidly.’’

3) Karate point:

  • ‘‘Although I am terrified of making a mistake, I love and accept myself.’’

Other points:

  • ‘I am terrified of making a mistake.’’

4) Karate point:

  • ‘‘Although I am scared of what people are going to think about me, I love and accept myself.’’

Other points:

Other points that should be tapped on during basic and advanced EFT for anxiety
  • ‘‘I am scared of what other people are going to think about me.’’

By following this procedure, you can generally expect to feel better quickly. Continue tapping until your physiological responses and thoughts settle.

This generally works well enough, but the results do not last.

The fear will likely reoccur.

For this reason, it is best to master EFT to an advanced degree, so that the anxiety can be permanently removed.
